LEFA is a chemical distribution company with a history spanning over 30 years. LEFA`s core competence is the sales, marketing and distribution of specialty chemicals.

LEFA works closely together with internationally operating chemical manufacturers. They benefit from the target-oriented and sustainable marketing of their products in Turkey – based on LEFA´s deep knowledge of the local markets.

LEFA supplies products to the following processing industries: aviation, textile chemicals, adhesives and sealants, resins, latex, lubricants as well as all industrial sectors in which heating and cooling circuits are used.

History

LEFA is based in Istanbul, Turkey. The company was founded in 1997 when Levent Kirikoglu, President saw a genuine need for high quality synthetic heat transfer fluids for the rising petrochemical, plastics and synthetic fiber industries in Turkey.

Levent spent 30 years at Sabancı Holding, Dupont USA, Bekaert Belgium, Teijin Japan, Branta Mulia Indonesia overseeing billions of dollars worth of projects. Levent has a decorated career. Having completed and lead a multitude of major international projects while working a long side Guler Sabancı. Upon the end of his professional career Levent decided to take on the distribution of Monsanto, Solutia and now Eastman Chemicals specialty fluid portfolio. Out of this need, LEFA was born.
